It’s not much of a secret. The Barnegat High School wrestling team, by and large, is learning on the fly right now. Many of its guys have been thrown into a fire and they’re trying to figure out how to manage it.

With only two seniors and a few juniors with any sort of varsity experience, the Bengals had a tough hill to climb at the outset of the season. Throw in COVID issues over the holiday break and some snow during the first week of January, and that made things even tougher.
