To the Editor:
In light of the Board of Public Utilities recently issuing two leases for offshore wind in areas some 40 miles offshore, let’s be clear: This in not in place of the hundreds of 1,000-foot windmills proposed by Atlantic Shores along the length of LBI. This is in addition to the current proposed projects.
We will have lines of windmills anywhere from 9 miles off the beach to 40 or more miles off the beach from Barnegat Light to Holgate, a huge array of windmills that will jeopardize the endangered…
