To the Editor:
Memorial Day is a day of remembrance when we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our rights of freedom as covered under the U.S. Constitution. For over 20 years the residents of Sunrise Bay in Little Egg Harbor have commemorated this special day by displaying the Stars and Stripes on our homes. This long-standing practice has endured the test of time without conflict.
This year the HOA has unilaterally decided that they will mandate restrictions on how we display Old Glory.
