To the Editor:
Submissions from S. Fox and Sal Sorce in the Dec. 7 edition seemed sorely in need of some holiday spirit. I’m fully in agreement with Fox that there are important conversations that need to take place about government waste. I’m of the opinion that Americans aren’t unhappy with government spending. You can’t operate a civil society without spending.
What’s distressing is the level of fraud that appears to be so easily perpetrated on the federal government.
