The stage is set for the next round of the NASCAR Series Championship and Stafford Township native Martin Truex Jr. is going to be part of the action, as the season heads into its final month.
Despite a 29th-place finish during the Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway this past weekend, Truex had enough playoff points – mainly based on his victory at Richmond Raceway on Sept. 11 – to secure his place among the Elite Eight.
