For more than a year I’ve been telling myself to write to The SandPaper concerning the letters and opinions of Ralph Thayer. His well-written commentaries on the social and political state of our country often clarify my own thoughts on most issues. Too many of us have a tendency to sit back allowing, but appreciating, those who put themselves forward.
