Did any other surfers get that feeling last week that the stretch of bad luck, bad sand and bad vibes was over? Yes, the sandbars were absolute hot garbage at most spots, but we had a few breaks holding sand. And then Monday, Oct. 20 was an absolute gem – our first fun windswell with offshore winds, ideal fall weather and waves pretty much all day.
Feels like we haven’t had offshore winds all day since the last government shutdown … in 2019.
