Christmas in July is a big deal at the Terrace Tavern. This year is the 23rd annual, it’s July 25, “and this year, it’s on a Saturday,” said restaurant owner Toby Sweeney, giddy with anticipation.
The tradition began as a reward for the staff, Sweeney explained in a video posted on socials this week. It has grown into a massive fundraiser and morale-boosting party.
“The camaraderie that’s built from it is so wonderful,” she said.
This year’s “Christmas” is ’80s-themed, so the costumes should be extra wild. Music will be provided by DJ Hunter.
