Brave the winter ocean in just a bathing suit – or a costume – for the 19th annual Super Plunge, a fundraiser benefiting St. Francis Community Center and the Southern Regional High School swim teams. This year’s event is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, on the 48th Street beach in Brant Beach.
Pre-registration is required. Forms are online at stfranciscenterlbi.org, or at the front desk of the community center – at 4700 Long Beach Blvd.
