There was a bit of business news in the surf world last week that didn’t really get much attention, nor should it have. Both the West and East Coast have been busy with much more important things – like surfing. The West Coast is still coming down off a big tropical swell and a rare encounter with Hurricane Hillary, while here on the Right Side, we’re all exaggerating our tales from the Hurricane Franklin swell while enjoying the Hurricane Idalia swell, which is still giving us surf.
The news was really just of the official signing of a surf industry deal that was inked back in March.
