At one time, maybe 15 years ago, there was no such thing as a women’s lifeguard tournament on Long Beach Island. Nowadays, there are three, and it’s always great to see the women test their immense skills against the Atlantic Ocean on a few occasions each summer.
On July 29, Bella Tapkas was really put to the test.
