St. Francis Community Center’s much-anticipated Super Plunge challenges local residents to “take an invigorating leap into the chilly ocean waters, symbolizing resilience, community spirit and generosity.” While the event is typically scheduled for the weekend of the Super Bowl, this year’s “Super Saturday” swim will be held on Saturday, March 15.
The Plunge will take place at 1 p.m. on the 48th Street beach in Brant Beach, to the east of St.
