To the Editor:
My wife and I have been discussing the issue of speeding on Beach Avenue in Long Beach Township for the past five years and Andy Matthews’ letter (“Speeding on Beach,” 9/21) motivated me to write this.
Lynn and I are six-month residents of Surf City and avid bike riders and walkers. Not only is the speed limit on Beach Avenue 15 mph, it also says no commercial vehicles. Both of these laws are absolutely not followed and not enforced.
