At its Feb. 14 meeting, the Barnegat Light Borough Council approved a request to hold a free, one-day skateboarding clinic for kids ages 5 to 13 on Saturday, April 13 (rain date April 20) from noon to 3 p.m. at the skate park behind the post office on West 10th Street.
“It’s a good place for the kids to learn,” said Doug Tait of Beach Haven, who with Caroline Unger of Ship Bottom, representing the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, is organizing the event.
