Coach Steve Warren saw flashes of brilliance from the Southern Regional sailing team during the fall. Now he wants the moments to turn into longer stretches.
“We showed glimpses in the fall of being pretty good, but we were inconsistent,” Warren said of his sailors, already several competitions into the season. “So far this spring, we’re still inconsistent. What’s really important, the thing our kids still haven’t fully been able to execute, is to avoid bad races.
