Conor Collins could have tried to blame the official for not allowing him to reach the championship match at 120 pounds, but he didn’t. Instead, the Southern Regional junior put the onus on himself for not winning his semifinals clash against Roxbury’s Luke Stanich.
“There was no excuse,” said Collins, shortly after placing third in the state during the NJSIAA Wrestling Championships at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on March 5. “I should have gotten out from bottom.
