Last year, Southern Regional’s field hockey program graduated a boatload of seniors. At the end of this season, the Rams are going to graduate even more – there are 18 of them on the roster.

“Isn’t that something?” coach Jenna Lombardo-Adams rhetorically questioned after a recent scrimmage. “We don’t rebuild. We reload. And that’s a credit to my assistants, especially Denise Logue, and sub-varsity coaches. They do an amazing job of developing players who want to be in this program.”

Of course, finding time for all of them, given Southern’s typically challenging schedule, is going to be difficult.
