If anybody was concerned whether this year’s Southern Regional gymnastics team could or would match up with last year’s squad, despite the graduation of almost its entire starting crew, those concerns should have been put to rest following the first competition on Sept. 17.

Led by returning senior Ava Kelly and varsity newcomer Liliana Foote, another senior, the Rams registered a score of 105.775 in their first meet of the season, easily defeating Manchester, which scored 97 points.
