To the Editor:
I applaud the proposal to lower speed limits on Beach Haven side streets. I hope this is coupled with enforcement, because as a walker, runner and cyclist on those streets – some of which in Long Beach Township are 15 mph – I see many vehicles are traveling well over that limit and also making dangerously close passes of pedestrians, particularly on busy mornings.
