Martin Truex Jr. finished second in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship, again.
“Gosh, second sucks. I hate it,” said Truex, moments after exiting his car on the track following the Cup Series Championship race at Phoenix Raceway on Nov. 7. “That’s three times we’ve been second, and that sucks. Second hurts. I’m not going to lie, especially with the car we had and the job the guys did.”
