And as if someone yelled “last call,” the summertime revelers have packed up their e-bikes and weighted g-vests to head westward into the sunset. But anyone with any kind of ties to LBI can tell you September is absolutely the golden month.

Summer is not over, of course. We’re just moving into the next stage. We have 20 more days until the autumn equinox. And many years, October can feel like another September.
