To the Editor:
I want to send a special thank-you to the Beach Haven water and police departments. Two Saturday evenings ago we noticed water bubbling from underground on our street. Since the water department is closed on weekends we called the police. In minutes the police along with the water department team arrived. They cut the blacktop, hand dug about 6 feet, fixed whatever was leaking, filled in the hole and repaved all within two hours.
