I was thoroughly excited to go kayaking for the first time in my many trips to Ship Bottom over the years, using the beautiful launching area by the dock on Central Ave. Imagine my consternation in finding dozens upon dozens of plastic tags that were never removed from the pressure-treated wood used in the crabbing dock that extends into the bay. Each one was held on with a rusted staple, just waiting to fall in and pollute our bay waters.
