Ship Bottom is slated to ask Ocean County to pave the parking area at Remembrance Park on Fourth Street sometime next year after a brief discussion about its 2025 Schedule C projects with the county road department.

“Generally, we use $50,000. It does go into our budget,” Kathleen Flanagan, borough administrator, said. “We do pay them, but it’s at a significantly less (cost) than we would with a private contractor.”
