For the fourth time in the school’s history, the College of the Holy Cross football team competed in the NCAA playoffs. And although they decisively lost to South Dakota State, 31-3, in round one last Saturday, the Crusaders are viewed as a young, up-and-coming team.

Those sentiments were echoed by their starting tight end, former Barnegat Bengals standout Sean Morris.

“That was a tough loss, but we have a very strong offensive line, and they’ll be back,” he said.
