During the day on Saturdays, the Barnegat Township Municipal Dock is a hotbed for fishing, crabbing and boating activities. But come evening, the area transforms itself into an outdoor dance club, with live music and people of all ages making their moves on the floor.

One of those might even be Mayor Joseph Marte, who said he and his wife, Mary, had been going to the free concerts well before he joined the township committee in 2021.
