When it was announced the 2026 World Cup was coming, we were told the five New York/New Jersey matches would be at MetLife Stadium and the six Philly matches would be at Lincoln Financial Field. You probably had no idea exhibitions would be held just beyond the tide pools of LBI.
Well, that’s what it looked like, anyway. For about 90 minutes on either side of low tide on Saturday, many of the inside sandbars off our beaches were completely out of the water.
