To the Editor:
I have been a Barnegat resident for 16 years. During that time I have met many of my fellow residents. As happens after you discuss your profession, your kids and/or grandkids, the conversation turns to politics. I have yet to meet the resident who is pleased with our local politicians.
We have the highest tax rate in our area. We have one of the highest per student costs in the county, top 20% in the state, according to a statewide list that was recently published.
