Before this column goes one inch farther, I need all you big game offshore fishing aficionados to get up off your procrastinating butt cheeks and register for our Island’s big game claim to fame: the Beach Haven Marlin and Tuna Club’s 43rd annual White Marlin Invitational Tournament. It’s approaching at marlinesque speed.
The captains’ meeting is July 25, 8 p.m., at the clubhouse. Obligatory partying isincluded. The fishing window runs from July 26 to 28.
