The rumor mill has run rampant with a claim that some big dredging project within the Beach Haven West lagoon system is coming and it’s going to cost township residents some $150 million to $200 million.

The idea has been a hot topic among several Facebook groups during recent weeks, with residents sparring over the implications of such an enormous and costly project and why “inlanders” shouldn’t be paying for some “luxury project” for waterfront property owners.
