The Spring Derby is here – this beloved annual surf fishing tournament kicked off last weekend, and will run until 6 p.m. on June 21. For three months, anglers can target striped bass and bluefish from the beaches of Long Beach Island to win cash prizes.
“We are looking forward to three great months of thrilling surf fishing action,” the LBI Surf Fishing Classic committee noted. “The 2025 event was a good one with a lot of great catches from anglers battling some impressive fish from the surf.”
