To the Editor:
I look forward to each week’s helpful and interesting edition of The SandPaper. I read some Island or regional history and lore. I read about our bays, water safety, turtles, sharks and needlefish, our pebbled and night-lit landscapes, storms and waves. A recent column reminded us that the Mullica River wildfire this spring damaged not human homes, but the habitat of birds, amphibians and mammals at critical nesting time.
I also read letters to the editor that reflect the hate-fueled politics polarizing us locally and nationally.
