To the Editor:
On May 6 the Ship Bottom Public Safety Committee met and discussed Long Beach Township’s proposal of establishing an LBI Emergency Services Agency responsible for the operational and capital expenses of the Ship Bottom Volunteer Fire Co. At the meeting’s conclusion the committee unanimously voted not to be part of the agency and we informed LBT of our position late last week.
