As much as she loves her brother, Makayla Vigilante’s plan when competing in next year’s NJSIAA individual girls wrestling championship tournament doesn’t include impersonating him.
“I’m definitely not going to A.C. next year with a knee brace and two wrapped ankles,” said the Southern Regional junior, laughing. “I’m going to stay far away from that. I don’t want to be hurt trying to wrestle there, but I’m definitely looking forward to going back.”
Fortunately, she and Attila Vigilante were able to step onto the mats inside Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall together…
