To the Editor:
It is very puzzling that our elected officials, like Long Beach Township Mayor Mancini, continue to be science deniers. Somehow Mayor Mancini thinks he knows more about global warming than hundreds, if not thousands, of climate scientists from all over the world.
Global warming is real and it is rapidly accelerating. LBI will be completely inundated in less than 100 years. It is not a scare tactic to plan for this certainty and hold off its devastating effects.
