During Tuckerton Borough’s April 3 council meeting, Councilman Frank D’Amore announced the recent passing of Bill S-428 in the New Jersey Legislature, extending the Right to Farm Act protection to certain shellfish aquaculture activities. He invited Dale Parsons Jr. – fifth-generation bayman and seafood purveyor, first-generation farmer and aquaculturist – to give a presentation.

Parsons, who owns Parsons Seafood, located on South Green Street, is well known for his efforts with ReClam the Bay.
