To the Editor:
On March 14, my dad, Paul Roberts, lost his Ship Bottom house and everything in it to a fire. He escaped the house in only his underwear. He is 94 years old and a World War II veteran, and was living out his life in his sweet, comfortable 102-year-old home.
The firemen were there quickly and the fire was contained and extinguished soon after, and for that we are very grateful.
