To the Editor:
The code regarding beach tents in Beach Haven needs to be overturned. First and foremost, who are they to say what we are and are not permitted to use on the beach where I have lived for 30 years and pay taxes?
I am 50 years old and have already had skin cancer. I also have very fair-skinned children. I bought a beach canopy, the smallest they have, to protect my family. Now I’m told by a lifeguard to take it down.
