The rehabilitation of the Manahawkin Lake dam in Stafford Township and two stormwater drainage improvement projects in Long Beach Township are slated to receive funding under Ocean County’s latest American Rescue Plan proposal, which is expected to be adopted by the county board of commissioners at its Aug. 16 meeting.
Rehabbing Manahawkin Lake dam carries a price tag of $550,000 in funding and is being done to prevent overtopping of stormwater during an event.
