To the Editor:
Ten years ago there was much ballyhoo about seismic testing off the Jersey Shore. The Sierra Club came out squarely against it, citing the adverse effect it would have on endangered marine mammals including whales. They also indicated the loss of tourism in their efforts to thwart testing. Of course we know the true point of their efforts was Big Oil.
