In a recent letter to the Murphy administration, District 9 legislators Sen. Carmen Amato and Assemblymen Brian Rumpf and Greg Myhre called on the governor to veto the New Jersey Turnpike Authority minutes that would allow for a toll increase to take effect this March.
Should the proposed rate hikes go into effect by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, toll prices on both the Garden State Parkway and the New Jersey Turnpike would go up 3%.
