When Karen Shaddow moved to Tuckerton Beach six years ago, she found herself driving all over Southern Ocean County to get to a Pilates class. The traffic, the time and the miles wore on her.
“I’d leave here, which I love, just looking at the water, and then go home [to Lumberton] to do that class, and I just thought it was ridiculous,” she recalled.
