COVID-19 circumstances might make this the most significant Memorial Day weekend since it was invented in 1868. While there will hopefully be no diminishing from the sanctity of “Decoration Day” – honoring those who have died in service to the nation – this year it will take on historic dimension in the war against invisible public enemy number one, being given the street name “Rona.”

The holiday will test two resolves, between folk still not ready to break out of lockdown and those donning T-shirts saying, “Enough Is Enough Already.”

Keep in mind only time will reveal the true takeaway from the weekend.
