The New Jersey Maritime Museum in Beach Haven is celebrating Shark Week on Friday, July 28.
The festivities begin with a shark talk and presentation at 10:30 a.m. by Ren Block, who is a summer intern at the museum. Following her program, there will be a scavenger hunt for children ages up to 17. Participants will look around the museum for shark-themed gifts that they can keep if they find them.
“Friday is when we have children’s activities at the museum,” said Block. “The kids have fun while learning at the same time.”
The intern is entering her junior year at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass.
