To the Editor:
It is the owners’ responsibility, legally and morally, to properly clean up after their dogs. Our fellow LBI neighbor has noticed that some people do not do so, and he guesses it’s just a sign of the times (“Dog Don’ts,” 7/8).
I have also noticed things about the neighbors with whom we share our island. I’ve noticed dozens of high school and college kids working the hot, long days at jobs from scooping ice cream to lifeguarding.
