With Veterans Day on Nov. 11, I would like to share the story of my Uncle Bert.
My grandfather Bourn moved to Beach Haven in the 1930s and built a house on Holyoke Avenue, which was knocked down just last year. He was the plant engineer at the Ice House in Beach Haven.
