Last weekend I saw Social Distortion with Hot Water Musicat the Stone Pony Summerstage. All the greasers, rockabilly types and surfers who’ve been at Social D shows for decades were there, including a bunch of heads from LBI. It brought back a lot of memories. Though I’ve seen Social D a bunch of times and HWM is really my jam, I was remembering the first time I tried to see them (unsuccessfully, long story) 22 years ago.
Like most surfers, I can’t remember where I left my sunglasses.
