During its Feb. 9 township committee meeting, Little Egg Harbor was proud to announce the opening date for the skate park, which will be situated at the Edward Thornton Community Center, at 319 West Calabreeze Way. The community center’s grand reopening will be on May 27, unveiling not only brand new skate ramps, but fresh basketball and pickleball courts.
As for the skate park, Sunrise Bay resident Art Mooney asked if the inherent risk with the sport would require additional insurance.
