At the end of last summer, fine artist Nita Shapiro started placing paintings inside Lighthouse Deli LBI, two blocks down from her gallery and studio, Art & Décor at Surf City. Heading into its second season on the Island, the eatery is a choice spot to double as art venue.
Owners Nancy George and Mike Seifert of Manahawkin have always appreciated the warmth and cultural vibe fine art brings to a space. Shapiro has five works hanging in the dining room and rest room.
