My daughter Claire and I did not know what we would find Monday, Aug. 12, my 41st wedding anniversary and the fourth without my dear husband, Stan. Since his passing, she has started the tradition of taking me to Long Beach Island on or near that date because of all the wonderful memories when Stan and I would vacation there around our anniversary. Even though we had chosen a cooler spot for our honeymoon on Cape Cod, we wanted to be near the sea every Aug.
